Then the river overheard
Took them flowing on water
Every thought, my every word
Downstream my thoughts went
Streams flowed out to sea
Sat watching the ebb and flow
Tides took away thoughts from me
Gathered a mixture of thoughts
Silent only waves for sound
In confusion with many feelings
Waved as they went ocean bound
Mixed emotions had to be freed
Brought forth from deep inside
Cannot write when in confusion
So today they followed the tide
