This Is My Life

Hi and welcome again to my little corner of the internet.

If you have read the rest of the blog you will know the bad side of things, but life does have it's good side for me too.

Despite what my life has been like I consider myself lucky. I have had successes along with the failures.

Victims can become survivors, then "thrivers" and just get on with life.

I love to "people watch", especially as I feel I don't really fit in anywhere. One day I will I am sure.

My writing might not make sense to you. I write from the heart, from the depths of my soul sometimes.

Sometimes the process of writing can be triggering, but I try and get out what is trapped inside me. In so doing I hope I can help others, even it only by them realising they are not alone.

The style of writing often changes, what can start off quite lyrical can end in a jumble of words. There is a reason for this.

I hope you "get" my writing because each piece is personal, I do some stuff in jest, parodies, but not often...

So have another drink, put your feet up and enjoy.

Thanks for reading.

UPDATE January 2015

My first book was fairly well recieved. The second, in collaboration with my good friend Donna Bailey will be published later this year. Others are in the pipeline and will include subjects not directly involved with CSA.

Other projects are being developed too. Details will be released when the time is right.

It has taken me until recently to find my inner peace. I know who I am, where my life is heading and what the time frame is. It feels good.

What matters most in life is to be just happy. Different things make different people happy. I am happy with me, I appreciate myself, I like myself. I'm looking forward to the journey that will be the rest of my life and doing things that make me happy.

I have no greater need than to simply be the man I am.
